The Danbury-Brewster Shuttle is a weekday bus service operated by HARTransit between the Brewster Metro-North station and several park and ride lots in the Danbury area. There is no service on Saturday or Sunday. Buses are timed to connect at Brewster with Metro-North trains to and from Grand Central. The bus does not directly serve the Danbury Metro-North station.

Regular HARTransit fares and passes apply on the bus. The adult one-way bus fare is $1.75, payable in exact change to the bus operator. Seniors (65 or older), people with disabilities, and Medicare recipients pay 85 cents if they show appropriate ID.
For travel between Brewster and Grand Central, a one-way ticket costs $20.75 on peak trains and $15.25 on off-peak trains. A monthly rail-only ticket costs $407.75.
Shuttle passes are available as add-ons to weekly and monthly Metro-North tickets for $11.25 and $33 respectively. They cannot be bought separately from a rail ticket. A combined bus and rail ticket to Grand Central is $440.75 monthly or $156.25 weekly.
These combined UniTickets are only sold at ticket machines and ticket offices. They are not available on the TrainTime app.
The Danbury-Brewster Shuttle will not run on:
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Presidents Day, the shuttle will run on a special schedule, which will be posted on the HARTransit website. Metro-North trains will run on a Saturday schedule, with additional trains during the morning and evening rush hours.
If you have a monthly Danbury-Brewster Shuttle UniTicket, you can get up to two free taxi rides per month from Brewster Station to your car or home when the shuttle is not scheduled to meet a train. This program is only available for riders starting their journey in Manhattan on select weekday trains. It is not available on weekends or when there is a delay or disruption in train or bus service.
